A note on IIM Lucknow Placements!
One of my friends is doing MBA from IIM Lucknow, and frankly before yesterday, I was not much aware about IIM Lucknow and its placements. Read on this blog post of mine on a note on IIM Lucknow Placements.
IIM, which is one of the most prestigious colleges of India, has different branches. As far as my little knowledge about them is concerned, I was aware that they have branches in Kolkata, and Ahmedabad. I was not at all aware that they do have a branch in Lucknow as well.

Second thing, which I was aware of them are that it is one such institute that even those who graduate from IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) are being fond of having admission in it. I cannot believe the fact that IIT graduates are most searched and successful candidates when it comes about placements during the study period are concerned.
Still I cannot believe that they all can leave a lucrative job offer to just study a few more years in those IIM colleges. Although it is also true that when they joins IIM their chances of getting similar lucrative offers increases by many times.
So coming back about IIM Lucknow placements, which I came to know yesterday only when I was discussing with my friend only. To my extreme surprise it is the 4th branch of IIM, established after IIM C or Kolkata, IIM A or Ahmedabad and IIM B the most popular Bangalore one. To be very frank Indian HRD ministry too consider IIM L as Institution of Excellence and it is among the top 5 B-schools in India.
To my utter surprise, this year IIM L has around 436 students available for placement in IIM L placements drive, and frankly 207 companies came to hire them, and offered 440 offers to them. Is not it an amazing data?
I cannot believe the success ration which IIM L MBA is producing. I can truly say this that IIM L is one of the best places for any management students.
