A few months back I wrote one interesting article on ultimate benefits of the guest blogging. Frankly speaking, we all knows the importance of guest blogging, but do any of us ever considered the drawbacks (if any) of the same?

From last few years, guest blogging has changed the concept of the internet marketing. It is a well known term now. As we all know that writing killer blog posts can help us to get ultimate traffic, and search engine love. As we all know that there is always some pros as well as cons associated with any good thing. Frankly many people will argue that there are no as such drawbacks of the guest blogging. I too agree that guest blogging does have all pros, but there are a few cons associated with the same too.

The very first and the most important drawbacks of guest blogging is actually the amount of time which it consumes. Frankly to get success in whatever you do (especially in online world) you do need to invest time on it. For some people, amount of time invested on guest blogging is truly frustrating, but if you ask me then it is truly worth of.

Many people will argue that after spending so much time on writing a unique content, you are actually not publishing it on your own blog; rather you are gifting it to someone else. It will actually help someone else to grow their own blog. Frankly this is the most valuable drawbacks which anyone can seek about the guest blogging.

I don’t support this view. If you ask me, my response is just opposite of the same. In fact, you are not helping someone else to grow their own blog; rather you yourself are helping your blog to grow. Frankly the other guy has already given his time and developed his blog to such level; and now it is his turn to eat the fruits of his own hard work. After all why are you giving time to write a killer post to get a chance to be published by the other guy on his established blog? Simply, because you want to grow your own audience.

My dear friends, nothing in this nature comes free. Frankly you are also not getting anything for free. You are giving your precious time, and the host blog is providing you the platform through which you can be able to create a unique identity of yourself and your blog too. It’s a simple deal and nothing else.

So those who are looking for cons associated with guest blogging or drawbacks of the guest blogging should not require to waste their time on investing the same, rather you can invest this time to write a great post, which can be used as a guest blog on one nice blog and thus can help you to build a brand for yourself.
