You will be surprised to hear this, but it is big news. A few days back I mentioned about CollegeDunia.com on one of the blog at I News India. Before that I was not much aware about this Delhi based online education portal.
While researching for my blog on best computer science faculties in Indian colleges, I came through their portal collegedunia.com and I realized that it is a big portal which provides all the helps to the students. It’s actually initiated an interest inside me to know more about them.
When I researched about them I came through news on some websites in which it is clearly mentioned that this Delhi based online education portal has recently raised around Rs. 1 Crore INR or $162,787 through Angel Investors.
The details of the investors mentioned about the investment were majorly from the CEO of an automobile website Gaadi.com Umang Kumar and a few other unknown and undisclosed investors.

Well you might ask me about the importance of such news. Honestly running an online education portal is not a simple and easy task. It requires lots of funds to run smoothly. Getting an investment of such a huge amount is in fact a boost to them.
I am happy that investors are now looking towards education sector to invest and I guess it is the first news of such a bit investment through which I have gone through. This is something which sparked my interest towards knowing more about their portal collegedunia.com.

Believe me if they won’t provide such content and technologies to their visitors, soon they will be out of the sight, which I suppose no one will prefer to do.
